Why does my product show no availability or can’t be booked?

If a product is showing no availability, there are several areas to check. Availability depends on operating hours, schedules, resources, and capacity rules. Use the checklist below to identify what is preventing your product from being bookable.

1. check for existing bookings

Someone may have already booked the openings you expected to see.

Review current reservations:

  • Reports → reservation report
  • Tools → capacity report

This will show whether the time slots are already full.

2. verify operating hours

Your business must be open during the time you expect availability.

Check operating hours:

Admin tools → operating hours

If the location is closed during that time, no products will show availability.

3. check the product schedule

Your product may have a special schedule for that day.

Go to:

Admin tools → products → product schedules (Click the blue link at the top)

Select the product and review the schedule for the date in question.

4. review resource counts

Products rely on resources (staff, equipment, lanes, rooms, etc.). If the resource count is lower than expected, availability will be reduced.

Check resources:

Admin tools → resources

Verify the resource count is correct and hasn’t been changed.

5. check bundle or multi‑event products

If your product includes multiple events or is part of a bundle:

  • Each component product may have its own resource requirements
  • Any shortage or conflict in those resources can block availability

Review all related resources and component schedules.

6. review the resource calendar (less common)

If availability still doesn’t appear, check the resource calendar for conflicts or overrides.

Go to:

Admin tools → resources → resource calendar

Look at all relevant resources for the date and time you expect availability.

7. check online ignore operating hours (for special products)

If you expect a product to be available outside normal operating hours, make sure:

  • Online ignore operating hours is checked in the product settings

Important notes:

  • These products will show availability online
  • They will not show availability in the pos unless you expand hours and override capacity manually
Summary

If your product shows no availability:

  • Check for existing bookings
  • Verify operating hours
  • Review product schedules
  • Confirm resource counts
  • Check bundle components
  • Review the resource calendar
  • Enable online ignore operating hours if needed

Following these steps resolves most availability issues.
