Step 1 - Creating a Redemption Voucher
This section outlines the process for generating a redemption voucher for an "experience of choice." The voucher is presented to the recipient when redeeming the experience. Since the purchaser has already paid in advance, there is no cost to the recipient at the time of redemption.
Accessing the Experience in Admin Tools
- Navigate to Admin Tools → Products.
- Search for the "Experience of choice" in the product list.
2. Click on the three dots next to the experience and select "Copy As New".
Updating Voucher Details
3. Update the Receipt Name to reflect that it’s a redemption voucher. Example: the "experience of choice" Redemption Voucher."
4. Modify the POS Button Text to clarify that this is a redemption voucher. Example:
"Experience of Choice Redemption."
5. Set the cost per unit to $0, as the purchaser has already paid for the event.
6. If desired, upload an image that reflects the event.
Confirming Online & In-Store Availability
7. Scroll down to Online Details and ensure "Available in Online Carts" is checked.
8. Under Store Details, confirm "Available in Store" is checked.
Enforcing Voucher Code Requirement
9. Scroll down to Global Restrictions and check "Requires Voucher Code."
- The voucher code must be present when redeeming.
Finalizing the Voucher Creation
10. Scroll to the bottom and click the green button on the left to save the changes.
