How can I send gift vouchers to a friend or family member?  What does the Set as a Gift Voucher Check box at bottom of edit product page do?

 There is a check box at the bottom of the edit product page for each of your voucher products.  If you set the voucher to that by using the checkbox, the customer will see a unique gifting popup where they can e-gift it to someone and set a date they want the email to be sent. There should also be a place to add a note. When turned off, the customer goes through the typical order flow and receives an email with the code and would use it for themselves or gift it to someone by printing or forwarding. Clients often don't turn on the gift option, and if they do, we just use it during the November / December holiday time frame.   Also, if you turn it on, there are some additional fields and an image slot in the voucher template setup that you may want to complete as they would display and/or go to the person who receives the e-gift  Note that whether you turn this gifting modal on or leave it off, we consider these as vouchers because the customer is buying now and redeeming later.
