Devices Un-Registering / Having to re-register terminals / Missing Cart icon, Modify, or Refund Links

If certain functions aren't working, your computer or the browser you are using may not be registered.

Your device keeps unregistering, you frequently have to re-register your terminal, or the Cart, Modify, or Refund buttons are missing.

Solution 1: Enable Browser Cache

If you are using the standard registration method, the most common cause is that your browser cache is being cleared.

To resolve the issue:

  • Make sure your browser is not configured to automatically clear the cache.
  • Avoid manually clearing your browser cache unless necessary.
  • Once caching is enabled, register the terminal one more time.

After that, your terminal should remain registered.

Solution 2: Use Advanced Hardware Registration (Recommended)

For the most reliable experience, enable Advanced Hardware Capabilities and install the AlphaGoat Chrome Extension.

This registration method is more stable than the standard cache-based registration because it does not rely on the browser cache to keep the terminal registered.

If your terminal frequently unregisters, we recommend switching to this method.
