This section outlines the process for generating a voucher for the Experience of Choice, purchased as a gift for a customer’s recipient. Since the customer is covering the cost, this step ensures proper payment is processed before issuing the voucher.
In this example we are using "1 hour Captains Course Experience."Admin Tools -> Products
1. Search for the Experience, 1-Hour Captain's Course, in the product list
2. Search for the experience in the search results
3. Click on the three dots for the experience and select "Copy As New"
Updating Voucher Details
4. Update the Receipt Name & POS Button Text to indicate it is a voucher (e.g., "1-Hour Captain's Course Voucher").
5. Modify the Short Description and Full Description to include only voucher-specific details:
- Short Description
- 1-Hour Captain's Course Voucher
- Full Description
- How to redeem?
- Restrictions:
- Days of the week the voucher is redeemable
- Availability on weekends
- Specific times the voucher can be redeemed
Confirm Online & In-Store Availability
6. Scroll down to Online Details and confirm that "Available in Online Carts" is checked.
7. Under Online Only Restrictions, leave the default settings unchanged.
8. In Store Details, ensure that "Available in Store" is checked.
After completing the next two steps, we will return to Advanced Features and check the necessary box.
9. Scroll to the very bottom and click the green button on the left.
10. Good practice is to confirm your work saved.
